  • Over 5.000 iPhone Apps in 6 months

    June 15th, 2011 - Jacco Valkenburg

On 1st of October 2010 we launched a white-label iPhone App for recruitment agencies and corporate organisations. Since then we created 12 iPhone Apps (and several Android versions) for our clients. The reason for offering a white-label iPhone App is that we wanted to change the perception that building and launching an iPhone is an expensive, complicated and long project. Which is not the case when you use our standard solution and service! It can be ready within 48 hours.

More important, we noticed that there was great interest from job seekers to have direct access to jobs ‘anywhere and anytime’. At that time we didn’t have much hard evidence, we only noticed that job apps were in the top of the charts of most downloaded business apps (in The Netherlands). But everytime we launch a new app we are surprised to see the number of downloads. It exceeds everytime our expectations. To give you some facts, in the past 26 weeks there were 5.167 fresh installations of our iPhone Apps by users. This means that on average 72 iPhone ‘Recruitment’ Apps, made by Recruit2, are installed on new iOS devices every day! Furthermore, another whopping 7.856 users have upgraded these iPhone Apps to the latest version.

Below you’ll find an overview, in random order, of the iPhone Apps we created for our clients plus a link to some more statistical information:
