Join us at #TRU Recruiter Unconferences
#Tru is an ongoing carnival of unconferences, organised by Bill Boorman, which is not just for recruiters. Attendees will be made up of a mix of Agency and in-house recruiters, HR, technologists and anyone with an interest in people.
These events attract track leaders and attendees from around the world. Attendance is restricted to 100 to ensure flowing conversation with 3 tracks an hour running, hosted by experts in the discussion topic. There’s something for everyone in the 36 tracks, with track leaders from Corporate and Agency Recruiting, H.R, Learning and Development, Technology, Digital Media, Job Boards and more. Of course we will be attending and leading a few tracks again this year!
What is an Unconference?
An unconference is a gathering of minds, experiences and opinions where the attendees (or active participants) lead the conversation. There are 3 simple rules:
- No Presentations
- No Powerpoint
- No Pitching
Apart from that, anything goes. We don’t have presentations because the best knowledge is in the room. By bringing together participants from all kinds of backgrounds with a shared interest. Job Boards, Recruiters (Corporate and Agency), Technologists, Mobile Specialists, Branding Companies and more, all with a shared interest in talent attraction from a different perspective. No talking heads to listen to and nod or nod off.
